Process Manager BASIC - Understanding Processes (Modul 1 - english)

What customer and process orientation means, how to recognize stakeholders as customer groups, and who the customers are in the context of process management. The historical development of process management; the definition of process management and of a process; the roles in process management; how to build a process map and develop a process map for a company of your choice; the benefits of process management – improving efficiency, outcomes, and customer satisfaction; the phases of the process lifecycle – designing, leading and controlling, and decommissioning processes; methods for modelling a process; the procon 4-steps method in process management (identification and scoping, as-is process analysis, design of target processes, realization of improvement potential) and the tools required for its implementation, as well as practicing each step; the success factors in process management.

Certification (WKÖ/WIFI) as Process Manager

• Presentation of the prepared project work
• Written exam (MCT)
• Presentation of a case study developed on site
• Technical discussion

Note: If you aim for the certificate as Senior Process Manager, you do not need to take this examination. The written project work must be uploaded to the community for review at least 1 week before the exam date, no later than 12:00 p.m.

Training Modules:

A minimum attendance of at least 75% is required in each training module. Upon successful completion of the training/modules with at least 75% attendance, you will receive a WIFI Wien certificate of participation. This certificate can be used to register for the certification exam.

Please note that the certification fee is not included in the course participation fee. Separate registration for the respective certification is required.

After passing the certification exam, you will receive a personal certificate from the WIFI Austria certification body (Austrian Chamber of Commerce) as a Process Manager. The certificate is valid for three years and must be renewed after expiration.
